Morrisons are one of the UK's largest Supermarket chains. The Morrisons brand is over 100 years old, serving 9m customers a week. Morrisons required CCTV security, and got in contact with us to provide the solution.
Solution
Upon reviewing the situation with Morrisons, we worked together to identify the manner in which we would combat growing instances of fuel theft.
Solution
We came to the conclusion that we recommend that Morrisons utilise our rapid deployable, battery powered 'SaferCams' to monitor petrol stations and garages operated by the supermarket. These would monitor sites 24/7 and offer the best chance of capturing fuel thieves in the act.
We installed over 50 sites within 72 hours of the enquiry being made.

The 'SaferCams' CCTV setup that Morrisons are currently utilising is driven by advanced video analytics. It becomes active upon the detection of movement, when a theft alarm is registered or upon the sending of a routine check message.
Morrisons now have an assurance that at risk garage sites are fitted out with methods of detection to protect assets and assist in capturing criminals. All footage captured on PODs® and our fixed CCTV is reviewed 24/7 by our Monitoring Station to allow for further security.
